The FirstStepTech ambassador team is a group of students that prepare presentions that demonstrate technological ideas - programming concepts, societal developments, etc... - to schools all over!
Our mentorship program works to pair ambitious high schoolers with impactful and inspirational collegiate student leaders. With that, they are able to teach, advise, and befriend to the best of their ability!
Our social media team works to spread technological awareness at the greatest of scales. Everyone knows TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, but not everyone knows tech. To that, we want to share, inspire, and provide insight on various opportunites to the masses, follow our TikTok and Instagram to keep up!
As of now, we are presenting on a zoom bases! Whether that be to a singular class of students, or on a projecture in the school cafeteria during lunch, we are open to presenting to the best of our ability. Soon, we'd like to fundraise in order to travel within state lines - that is, to all of Texas!
Whether it be weekly checkups, help with your programming homework, late night talks about high school drama, etc... we want our mentorship program to be more than superficial, we want it to be true. Yes, you're going to receive all the technical help you need, but you will also receive a friend in the process.
